Our kindergarten teachers are highly qualified, they hold a teaching certificate from the Florida Department of Education for ages 3 - grade 3 and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

We are fully accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida and The National Council for Private School Accreditation and Cognia.

Our curriculum is grounded in well researched and proven teaching practices from leading researchers in the field of Early Childhood Education. We follow the Florida Standards for English Language Arts and Math, so students are fully prepared for 1st grade. We teach these standards following our Tree Top Approach to Learning by using a child centered, Project Based approach and Visible Thinking routines developed at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. We also take relevant field trips to various locations to extend learning into the real world.

Our kindergarteners will only use technology to research topics of interest for a long-term project study. 

 Homework will only be given on an individual basis as needed for skill development, or as a fun, family connecting project.

One of the most unique benefits of our kindergarten program is that an individualized learning plan is developed for each child. This plan is established in partnership with the teacher and parents. It specifies individual goals for each child. The goals are set in collaboration with parents based on assessment and classroom performance.
